The Glen at Scripps Ranch is looking for a Full Time EVS Administrative Coordinator
Wage: 19.50-21.50/ hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30a-4pm
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Environmental Services Coordinator manages and distributes information within the Environmental Services Department and steps in to provide direct housekeeping, laundry, and custodial services as needed. The primary function of this role is to assist the Director in the day to day operations of the Department; these duties include, but are not limited to, answering the phones, taking memos and maintaining files and logs, as well as greeting clients and customers. The Environmental Services Coordinator will be asked to step in for any need that is required pertaining to housekeeping, laundry or custodian needs, and this will require covering another department position as needed during an unexpected absence. This is both an administrative support and direct services position, depending on department needs.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
- Assists, coordinates and organizes the master cleaning schedule for all unit cleaning and special cleaning projects in a timely manner. Regularly communicates with Residents regarding their cleaning schedule.
- Records and submits Resident billing and monthly cleaning report.
- Keeps all required department records, messages, notes and reports. Maintains accurate and current departmental logs.
- Assists the Environmental Services Manager/Director with coordinating and recording mandated annual deep cleanings of each unit.
- Assists other Departments in coordinating special events and functions.
- Conducts inventories of all housekeeping supplies; including equipment and radios.
- Responsible for placing all department orders; including supplies and chemicals once approved by the Department Director/Manager.
- Assists Department leadership in operating within the Department budget guidelines.
- Assists Department leadership with assigning turnover of units for cleaning as needed.
- Assembles the EVS move-in folder (EVS packet, laundry bag, etc.) for new and transferring Residents
- Assists Management staff with education sessions as needed pertaining to Relias reminders.
- Provides direct housekeeping, laundry or custodial duties as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining excellent relations with the Residents and promoting good departmental morale.
- Attends in-service training(s) and education sessions, as assigned/required.
- Protects Community property/equipment and makes sure there are no defects.
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Addresses complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Observes and notifies Supervisor about noticeable changes in a Residents health, demeanor or disposition.
- Assists EVS team members as needed with project or deadlines, dictated by the Director/Manager.
